Couple Wed In Garden Ceremony

Dula May Robinson Becomes Bride of Pvt. Ray Sprunger

Dula May Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Robinson, 806 Annetta, Vandercook Lake, became the bride of Pvt. Ray Charles Sprunger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Sprunger, 7680 Dixon, in a single ring ceremony in the floral garden of the bridegroom's parents Saturday at 7 p. m. The Rev. Kenneth Sprunger of Lansing, uncle of the bridegroom, performed the ceremony. The bride chose a street-length white net over light blue taffeta dress. She wore a white hat and accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations. Clara Peterson, maid of honor, was attired in a street-length dress of pink nylon and white hat and accessories. She wore a corsage of white daisies. James Sprunger, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. A reception followed the ceremony. Out of town guests at the wedding and reception were from Lansing, Homer, Grand Rapids and Georgia. The bride was graduated with the 1952 class of Vandercook High school. The bridegroom has just completed basic training with the United States Army at Fort Bragg, N. C.
